MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital

MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital

MedStar Good Samaritan is a 198-bed adult care community teaching hospital located in the northeast section of Baltimore City, Maryland. Founded in 1968, our not-for-profit hospital is committed to upholding Catholic values in all healthcare services and practice—ensuring that patients receive high-quality, compassionate, and supportive care.

Long known as a specialty center for rehabilitation and orthopaedics, MedStar Good Samaritan has expanded its range of health care services to better serve those in our community. Today, our anchor services include cancer care through the MedStar Health Cancer Network, diabetes care, emergency medicine, geriatrics through the Center for Successful Aging, wound healing, hyperbaric medicine, and limb salvage, inpatient rehabilitation in partnership with MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital, interventional radiology, orthopaedics, vascular care, and wellness. Behavioral health, diagnostic imaging, dialysis (through DaVita), general surgery, lab services, as well as primary and specialty care are available.

Our team of 1,700 MedStar Good Samaritans is devoted to your care and good health.
